Vegan Kitchen TV (VKTV) (2010 - 2020)

Founded by Selena Scola in 2010 

Vegan Kitchen TV is an eco-conscious entertainment and news site with a focus on environmental food sourcing, the protection of biodiversity, and climate change. We promote growth within a circular economy by supporting entrepreneurs and businesses that design systems with the health of our Earth and environment in mind. 

Practice compassion, celebrate human creativity, and embrace diversity. 

Our achievements include:

• Vegan Kitchen TV was awarded 'Best Environmental Food Sourcing & Biodiversity News Platform 2019' by 2019 Fitness and Nutrition Awards hosted by GHP News.
• VKTV was part of TISCH NYU college work-study program in 2012 for our work with the emerging technology of live and interactive Internet streaming. 
• Scola utilized IBM's Watson Ustream technology for new business development and strategic partnerships while pivoting VKTV from a live-streaming interactive cooking show with indirect product sampling to an award-winning environmental food sourcing and biodiversity news platform. 
• Hosted broadcasts at renowned San Francisco restaurant locations, including Ike's Place SFSU, Patxi's Pizza Fillmore, and Cafe Gratitude's Central Production Kitchen, amplifying our message and impact. 
• Featured in publications such as The Bold Italic, VegNews, SF APPEAL, Patxi's Pizza, and vegansaurus!
